I Heart Hugh Laurie

Being a good seven or eight years behind, I've only just picked up on this whole "House" craze (if you don't know - get to know!). After having managed to fly through 3 series within the space of 2 weeks, I finally gave in and attempted to draw the talented Hugh Laurie in an attempt to feed my obsession. Along with buying his blues CD, Blackadder the Third, the rest of the House season... The list goes on.

We made it into the evening standard!

So Cheesy: The Primula Campaign

What better way to start my blog than with a bunch of celebrities painted in, yes, cheese. But not just any old cheese. Primula cheese that I haven't seemed to be able to stop eating since the many samples I was sent to work with arrived on my doorstep 3 months ago.

I was originally approached with the idea back in May (you can imagine my surprise when I open up my inbox and get the unusual request of being asked to paint in cheese). And now, after countless hours of stinking up my room practicing with the likes of garlic dips and cheese and onion spread, the day finally arrived when everything came together at the N1 shopping centre in Islington.

Naturally, we came up with plenty of suitably cheesy names for our cheesy celebs; Barack "Edam-a", Justin "Brie-ber", "Ched-ward", Lady "Gouda"... You get the jist.
